Responsible for coordinating anti-doping education actions in France, the AFLD acts as an interface with the World Anti-Doping Agency (AMA) to give it an overview of the actions carried out in the territory and promote them internationally.
Educational tools
The AFLD has developed several educational tools for different audiences: athletes, escorts, anti-doping officers, sports federations, etc.
Training of anti-doping educators
The AFLD offers players in the world of sport the opportunity to train anti-doping educators whose role is to carry out educational activities adapted to the different audiences identified within their organization.
The "For Clean Sport" endowment fund aims to promote and support the development, throughout France and abroad, of numerous educational and research initiatives in the areas of the fight against doping and the preservation of sporting integrity.
AUT, instructions for use
A TUE (Therapeutic Use Exemption) is a special authorization that allows the patient to undergo treatment requiring the use of a prohibited substance or method for a diagnosed medical condition. It does not replace a prescription.
Food supplements
A healthy, varied, and balanced diet should allow athletes to more than cover their nutrient needs. In specific cases where a conventional diet is not sufficient to cover nutrient needs, athletes may be tempted to take dietary supplements.
